Timeline & Scenario Analysis
Complex cases often contain a multitude of facts, statements and documents that are difficult to organise at first glance. A clear timeline provides structure and reveals patterns that would otherwise remain hidden. Scenario analysis takes it a step further: we test the different versions of the facts for factual viability. Which scenario is best supported by the available evidence? Which version contains contradictions? We deliver the overview and analysis that enable you to present your case convincingly.
What we investigate
What do we deliver?
We provide a complete fact reconstruction: chronological ordering of all known facts and statements, scenario testing for factual viability and consistency, visual timelines and relationship diagrams for case documents, source references for each fact in the timeline, and gap analysis to identify gaps in the evidence. Everything is directly usable in your litigation strategy.
When is this relevant?
Timeline and scenario analysis is deployed in criminal law (incident reconstruction, alibi analysis), civil law (long-running contract disputes, liability), employment law (case file building, labour conflicts), corporate law (director liability, shareholder disputes) and personal injury (reconstruction of accidents and medical treatments).
How does the investigation work?
We study all available documents and distil the relevant facts and events.
All facts are ordered chronologically, with marking of crucial moments and contradictions.
We systematically test each scenario against the evidence and indicate which facts support or contradict it.
You receive a report with a detailed timeline, scenario matrix and visual overviews for your litigation strategy.
